The KitSetup program helps position Ohbot’s servo arms correctly.

When you press the space bar, all of Ohbot’s motors will move to their reset position.

We’ll now go through how to fit each of the servo arms and Ohbot’s lips step by step.

When everything is fitted correctly, pressing the space bar should make Ohbot return to the position shown here.

5. Whilst holding Ohbots head upright push the Motor arm onto the shaft of Motor 1 so it holds Ohbot’s head upright.

3. With Ohbot connected to your computer start OhbotApp2.

In the app open the KitSetUp program: File>Open>KitSetup

Pressing the space key will reset Ohbots motors. We will use this to set up the motors.
1. Thread the link through the end hole of the motor arm
4. Hold Ohbot’s head upright
6. Fix the arm onto the motor using screw B
2. Tilt Ohbot’s head to one side and thread the link wire through the hole on the headnod pivot

2. Attach the lip onto the servo so that it is horizontal
4. Use screw B to secure the lip in place

Ohbot’s lips are identical and either can be used for top or bottom

2. Push the the Bottom Lip onto the the servo so that it is horizontal beneath the top lip just like in the picture
4. Use screw B to secure the lip in place

Set Up Ohbot’s Bottom Lip Motor (Connected to JP6)
Ohbot’s lips are identical and either can be used for top or bottom
3. Check it is in the right position by pressing the SPACE key again.



The lips should just meet, but not overlap.





If they do overlap, take the Bottom Lip off, click Reset again and then repeat from Step 2.

Calibration

The "Calibrate" option allows you to fine-tune Ohbot’s motor positions after manually setting them up.

To access it go to “Settings” at the top of the Ohbot screen, click “Calibrate” and follow the on screen instructions.
